What is everyone building with Jev?

There are several posts about “What Jev is” on LinkedIn right now. Ok, we get it. Jev is built to make decisions.

I think there’s a better way to understand it: Look at what people are actually building with it.
If you haven’t seen https://madewithjev.com/, it’s a showcase of real-world projects built on Jev. Some of the use cases were eye-opening, given the range of decisions Jev is being used to make.

The common use cases:
→ Classify posts based on sentiment
→ Triage hundreds of emails as urgent, spam, etc.
→ Score content before it ships
→ Agentic trading: decide buy/sell or pick a strategy

The less obvious use cases:
→ Decide an agent’s next browser action
→ Make decisions inside real-time games, robotics, and other control loops
→ Prune irrelevant context before an LLM sees it.

And for those who didn’t know: Jev is neither the first nor the only model in this space. There are several classifier/decision models that can perform similar types of tasks, including open-weight and self-hosted options:
→ Laya
→ Kev-0.5B
→ OpenJev

If you’re willing to fine-tune a model and keep everything private, some of these alternatives are worth exploring.
