2026: Year of Orchestration
2025 was the year of vibe coding. Surprisingly powerful! I had my fair share of fun & learnings too.
2026 will be the year of orchestration. What feels magical in a prototype collapses in production. We have seen it enough by now.
The next standard is “Agentic Engineering“. Systems of agents with explicit roles, coordination logic, failure handling, and accountability. This is where experimentation turns into enterprise-grade capability.
Andrej Karpathy’s latest framing captures this shift well. The industry is moving from “can we build it?” to “can we operate it safely, repeatedly, and at scale?”
If your AI roadmap still centers on single-agent demos, you are stuck in 2025.
